Bug#928615: Please switch to libidn2

2019-05-07 Thread Laurent Bigonville

Version: 241-3
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

It might be intresting to switch from libidn11 to libidn2

On a freshly debootstrapped chroot, libidn2 is already installed:

# apt-cache rdepends --installed libidn2-0
libidn2-0
Reverse Depends:
  libc6
  iputils-ping
  libgnutls30

While libidn11 is only used by systemd:

# apt-cache rdepends --installed libidn11
libidn11
Reverse Depends:
  systemd

Kind regards,
Laurent Bigonville
