Well, a relative zoom of 2× may even be sufficient in practice
(perhaps except for people with a low vision, but at this point,
it is not clear that a very pixelized image would solve the
issue).

On HiDPI screens, the text on the map is hardly readable.
One can zoom the map by using the contextual menu on
Default Map → Properties → Zoom Level, but once one zooms
with Ctrl+ or Ctrl-, the zoom level of the map becomes
wrong, as this is an absolute zoom instead of relative.

Absolute zoom is probably useless. It should be changed to
relative. At least, relative zooms should be available by
an option.
