Since Thunderbird 68 has been uploaded to unstable, the current version
of enigmail in unstable is no longer installable.

Thus bumping the severity to RC.
At this point, enigmail 2.1 should probably be ploaded directly to
unstable and not experimental. Retitling the bug report accordingly.

we are getting closer to Thunderbird version 68.2.0 for unstable.
I will upload 68.1.2 within the next two days to experimental as
announced in some other email. And I will start work on 68.2.0 once this
version will go into the stable tree on the CDN of Mozilla.

As Thunderbird 68.x will come with a Breask enigmail (<< 2:2.1.2~) users
will get lost of an installed Enigmail AddOn in unstable if no newer
version will be around.

So it would be nice if you can provide a updated version of Enigmail at
least in experimental for now.

Regards
Carsten

2019-08-04 Thread Carsten Schoenert
Package: enigmail
Version: 2:2.0.12+ds1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi there,

I'm working on packaging the latest Thunderbird 68.0 beta version again
after some break.
Upstream will release the first final 68.0 version within the next days I
expect.

The current enigmail version 2.0.x in unstable is not compatible with TB
>= 68.0. Please package version 2.1 and upload these version into
experimental for now. Testing my TB packaging with always dealing the
local installed enigmail version is a bit tedious.

Regards and thanks!
Carsten
