ng fails to cross build from source, because it configures for the build architecture. Usually this is due to a missing --host flag and the easiest way of supplying it is using dh_auto_configure. Unfortunately, the ./configure of ng is too old to understand --host. Here we have to supply a cross compiler in a CC variable. Please consider applying the attached patch. Helmut
