This has been fixed in https://github.com/rsyslog/librelp/commit/b8c715e88d22dabc1d2bbd078f2f29e0705e234c (post 1.7.0 but applies cleanly on top of 1.7.0). The actual Python script should already work fine with Py 2 and 3 in 1.6.0 already. Cheers, Moritz
