Hi, Alberto.

Can you confirm where the pull request is in salsa?

Thanks!
Cascardo.

Bug#947008: sendxmpp: Formatting codes leak into the man page

2019-12-19 Thread Alberto Luaces
Package: sendxmpp
Version: 1.24-2
Severity: minor
Tags: patch upstream a11y

Some formatting characters in the POD are not interpreted in the
configuration section, so the user is mislead into thinking that each
value has to be prepended by "I<".

I have made a pull request in salsa, and a similar fix is also present
in upstream:

https://github.com/lhost/sendxmpp/commit/9186b8c49e54cf59ace4e5ddf52aa10b1a386fa5

-- System Information:
Debian Release: bullseye/sid
  APT prefers testing
APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable')
Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)
Foreign Architectures: i386

Kernel: Linux 5.3.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU cores)
Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE,
TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE
Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=
(charmap=UTF-8)
Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
LSM: AppArmor: enabled

Versions of packages sendxmpp depends on:
ii libnet-xmpp-perl 1.05-1
ii perl 5.30.0-9

sendxmpp recommends no packages.

sendxmpp suggests no packages.

-- no debconf information
