Bug#954733: gr-iio: probably wrong version

2020-03-22 Thread Miguel A. Vallejo
Package: gr-iio
Version: 0.3-7+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Installing gr-iio 0.3-7+b1 in testing / unstable does not make appear
the IIO blocks in gnuradio. Current gnuradio version in testing /
unstable is 3.8.1.0~rc1-2+b1 and I suspect this version of gr-iio is
aimed to the 3.7 gnuradio brach.

Taking into account this package will never reach stable, and current
gnuradio branch in testing / sid is 3.8, please, abandon the 3.7
branch and package the 3.8 branch of gr-iio that you can find at
https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/gr-iio/tree/upgrade-3.8

Thank you.
