Bug#954852: [Pkg-cmake-team] Bug#954852: cmake depends on libarchive13 3.3.3, but only 3.2.2 is available

2020-03-24 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi,

I have uploaded

libarchive (3.4.0-2~bpo9+1) stretch-backports-sloppy; urgency=medium

  * Rebuild for stretch-backports-sloppy.

(see git[1]. May be that upload got lost somehow? I'm extremely busy
with COVID-19 issues now. So I can repeat my upload but I have no
better idea what else I could do.

Kind regards

 Andreas.

Dear Maintainer,

cmake in stretch-backports depends on libarchive13 (>= 3.3.3),
but libarchive13 (3.2.2-2+deb9u2) is the highest available version for
stretch (including backports). Therefore apt update fails when backports
are enabled

Could you look into this?

Seems like it also doesn't build because of this:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=cmake=stretch-backports

Cheers,
Felix
