This looks like you've run simple-cdd from a directory where tmp/mirror
already exists as a reprepro repository, but with a different
configuration (e.g. a run where bullseye was specified, and in the new
installation, you're attempting stretch?). Indeed, simple-cdd should
handle this scenario better.

The workaround is to wipe out the above mentioned conf and db
directories in the reprepro repository.

Bug#958948: simple-cdd on stretch fails with reprepro errors

2020-04-26 Thread Buck
Package: simple-cdd
Version: 0.6.5
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Running simple-cdd in default mode on fresh stretch installation fails as
follows:

$ build-simple-cdd
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro: updating package lists exited with code 255
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR Last 5 lines of standard error:
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro: updating package lists: of the databases
belonging to those removed parts.
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro: updating package lists: (Another reason to
get this error is using conf/ and db/ directories
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro: updating package lists: belonging to
different reprepro repositories).
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro: updating package lists: To ignore use
--ignore=undefinedtarget.
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro: updating package lists: There have been
errors!
2020-04-27 00:29:23 ERROR reprepro failed with exit code: 255
