Package: okular Version: 4:20.04.2-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
On a fresh install of debian testing with KDE okular crashes when it is started with a filename argument. So in both the default scenario when I try to open a file in dolphin, or via command line. However, when okular is opened without document and I open a file via file->open it works as expected. As it is very unexpected that a package fails so spectacularly on a fresh install I tried to deduce what makes my environment non-standard: After trying which settings in the KDE system settings are relevant I found it only happens when I have my two screens positioned 'wrong'. If that is the case, okular crashes always on any document. If they are positioned 'right' it always works as expected. I have two screens, primary 1920x1080, secondary 2560x1440. The second screen is to the right of the primary screen. If the second screen is positioned significantly higher it is 'wrong' and the application crashes on startup. If it is just a little bit higher (bottom of second screen a little above bottom of primary streen) it works ok, and it also works if the bottoms are equal, the tops are equal or it is significantly below the primary screen. Expected results: Okular should be able to open a file no matter the screen configuration.
