Not sure which orphaned dependencies you are referring to, but this
package, and many of its dependencies are maintained under the umbrella
of the Debian Python Team. https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/PythonTeam

You can join the team, and help to maintain them. It looks like you have
some experience with Debian packaging? If so, apply to the team, and
start working on them. Upload sponsorship can be requested via IRC, the
team mailing list, or debian mentors.

I'm afraid that at this point prospector is not going to be part of the
upcoming Debian bullseye release, the best we can do is get it in shape
for bookworm.

Hi.

There is a new version of prospector upstream at

https://pypi.org/project/prospector/

that is supposed to fix all the problems that are currently in debian (read:
prospector doesn't work at all).

I'm including in the CC some of the people that last touched the package (at
least according to changelog.Debian.gz in my system). If anybody could fix
it, that would be awesome.
