Or some rockchip-team group? I created https://salsa.debian.org/diederik/rock64 which works enough for me to build basic images for my Rock64, but otherwise is of poor quality. But some tool to make Debian images for Rockchip based devices, may be useful. Then it's easiest when they're all under the same umbrella (group) signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
Bug#966178: ITP: rkdeveloptool -- tools for working with Rockchip ARM processors through the rockusb protocol
Hi Dylan, I have packaged rkdeveloptool (originally a really long time ago - finally found some time to refresh things today!) and the source is available here: https://salsa.debian.org/obbardc/rkdeveloptool Can I request a review and potentially an upload if all is good ? I guess this time it would be best to move it to the debian salsa namespace first - I do not have access there (yet?). Thanks and all the best, Chris
Bug#966178: ITP: rkdeveloptool -- tools for working with Rockchip ARM processors through the rockusb protocol
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Christopher Obbard * Package name: rkdeveloptool Version : 1.3+git20190701.6e92ebc-1 Upstream Author : Kever Yang * URL : http://opensource.rock-chips.com/wiki_Rkdeveloptool * License : GPL-2.0 Programming Lang: C++ Description : tools for working with Rockchip ARM processors through the rockusb protocol This package provides tools to communicate with various Rockchip ARM processors which support the RockUSB protocol (e.g rk3288, rk3328, rk3399 ...). The tool includes support to interact with the processors' low-level bootrom (MaskROM) as well as interact with the recovery or firmware-download protocol rockusb. This makes it possible to upload firmware to flash, download firmware from flash, erase flash, reset the device, read manufacturing information from the processor as well as other commands. This package is useful for anyone performing low-level debugging on Rockchip devices. Currently, there are no other implementations of the rockusb protocol available in Debian so manually compiling from source is currently required for anyone wanting to upload images to their Rockchip board and a package would make this process a lot simpler. I am looking for a sponsor for this package.
