Thanks, but that has still the cached old data I guess, since it shows the Noto don't. You probably need to call fc-cache -f -s first (of I remember the command line options correctly). It shouldn't show the Noto color emoji font. (Plasma 5.19.5.x) the emoji selector is launched and these are shown in black and white and many of them are not displayed correctly. I have installed the package: "fonts-noto-color- emoji" and "fonts-noto-*" I found a solution.. but it seemed dirty to me.
