Bug#974995: Raising severity and offering to NMU package

2020-11-24 Thread Simon Josefsson
Thanks -- I'm uploading a NMU now with debdiff below.

It would be nice to have gnunet in Debian, and I believe that having a
less-than-ideal package remain in testing is more likely to attract
volunters to maintain it in Debian than if it would be removed, but I
understand if you want to remove it to reduce the responsibility for
it. Isn't there a Debian QA group packages can be assigned to if a
maintainer wants to let go? I don't remember, and I have been in your
situation as well with with some packages so I know the feeling.

/Simon

Bug#974995: Raising severity and offering to NMU package

2020-11-23 Thread Bertrand Marc
Dear Simon,

If you can find the time, please do. Otherwise, I'll probably remove GNUnet
from testing myself (it is currently RFA).

Cheers,
Bertrand
