FTR, I did reproduce it on a porterbox before submitting the RM request.

It's some signal weirdness in a low-popcon leaf package,
so I decided it's not worth spending much of my time or
time of a porter on it.

No activity on investigating or rectifying the build issues was
reported for 7 months before your reply. If anything was going to
happen "soon", this bug would not have existed anymore.
