Dear Maintainer,
PyChess keeps playing sound effects, even when "Use sounds in PyChess" is
unchecked. Additionally the "Use sounds in PyChess checkbox is automatically
reenabled every time PyChess is launched. I expect PyChess to not play sounds
when "Use sounds in PyChess" is unchecked, and I expect the setting to persist
after quitting and relaunching PyChess.
