Hello Christoph,


thank you for spending your time helping to make Debian better with
this bug report.

I think this is not necessary; especially because the daemon is set to
deactivated during installation.

Hi.

Just an idea, ... it could make sense to split out saned from sane-utils.

That way people can install the -utils package without getting the daemon
(which most people probably won't need anyway).
