Actually I realize that the conffile is removed from the postinst
script.

However, this is not sufficient, since the file still appears in the
dpkg database (and is marked there as obsolete). I guess this is
because the removal was done with an ad hoc shell snippet, instead of
using the appropriate tooling from dh_installdeb / .maintscript.

In version 2.0~pre8, the bash completion file was moved from /etc to /usr/share.

However, the obsolete conffile is not properly clean up during the upgrade
(e.g. from buster to bullseye):

$ adequate unp
unp: obsolete-conffile /etc/bash_completion.d/unp
$ dpkg-query -W -f='${Conffiles}\n' unp | grep obsolete$
 /etc/bash_completion.d/unp 325011df902bf38dcf2ab188fb28f961 obsolete

Please use the dpkg-maintscript-helper support provided by
dh_installdeb to remove this obsolete conffile on upgrade.
