I (finally) have a package of version 4.6.2 building successfully and
plan to upload to experimental in the next few days.


The r-deps build successfully.  I am working on an update to jline3 to
include the jline3-console jar, which in turn should allow the picocli
package to include the picocli-shell-jline3.

However, please let me know if you would like an upload to unstable in
the meantime.


Thank you very much for working on this! I've tested picocli-4.6.2.jar 
for building SOP-Java-Picocli and it works perfectly well.


If you would be willing to upload it to unstable, then it would allow me 
to upload it to NEW with confidence.

Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for the bug report.  Please excuse long response time.  I
started the  of updating picocli a while back but got side-tracked.  I
will resume that effort.

I'd like to package some software that depends upon the picocli
API from 4.x onwards (specifically the latest upstream version
4.6.1, I haven't experimented to see whether I could get away
with earlier 4.x versions). 3.9.6 is too old for this software.
