Bug#437020: apt-listbugs fails with "W: Mandatory parameter 'bug' missing in call to Debbugs::Status::get_bug_status"
The problem is reoccurring, but it seems it takes a specific combination of packages to make it happen. I have no idea what's special about that combination, but it causes the server to choke with that error. You may file important or serious bug on debiandoc-sgml since this issue should be fixed there (instead of disabling pdf build for Korean which is easy but with no real benefit.) So I keep this bug as my reminder while working on real issues. So if this becomes really RC, let's disable PDF building for Korean then. I keep my lenny system updated regularly and I remember recently upgrading cupsys. I don't print that often so I don't know if the failures started with the cupsys upgrade or not. I do know that the same print setup works on another lenny box I have that I haven't done the cups upgrade on. The lenny box that still works is at cupsys 1.2.11-3. My printer is a network printer with device: IBM Infoprint Manager and the and the device URI uses ipselect. This setup used to work and and still does work with backlevel packages on another lenny box. I am not sure if the problem is due to the cupsys upgrade or gs or what. Applications that used to print but are now giving the error are galeon, Iceweasel, Evince, Lotus Notes under wine, ... The strange thing is that printing a test page from the cups administration page in my browser does print. Hi, Thanks for letting me know. This seems to be an endianness-problem in Blender, seeing that the same failure happens on mips, but not on mipsel or other little-endian architectures. (There's a different error there ;-) ). I'll file a bug there and block this one on it. In the meantime, I'll ship pre-built images and let the build work even if blender can't load the file. While I don't like using precompiled files, it is better than waiting possibly a long time for a fix which will probably not be given high priority by the Blender people. Thanks Florian, The following are now disabled for svn: "editor-cmd", "diff-cmd", "diff3-cmd", (just added) "config-dir", The following are disabled for svnserve: "daemon", "listen-port", "listen-host", "foreground", "inetd", "threads", "listen-once", The following for rsync: "rsh", "daemon", "rsync-path", (this and below just added) "address", "port", "sockopts", "config", "no-detach", And the following for unison: "-rshcmd", "-sshcmd", "-servercmd", "-addversionno" (just added) Where documented, the respective short options for the above are disabled. I updated the security document to include the changes you recommend, and then a couple of others that come to mind. The latest version of the security document is available here: http://scponly.cvs.sourceforge.net/scponly/scponly/SECURITY?view=markup We'll continue to look at it and see if there is anything else that we missed.
