Bug#443274: dual-card setup doesn't work with X 1.4
No it doesn't. Also X process can not be killed with a -9 as well. As you might imagine Ctrl+Alt+Backspace doesn't bring back the console too. But with a dual-head setup Ctrl+Alt+Backspace works and X can be killed. -- aldemir - Original Message From: Julien Cristau [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Aldemir Akpinar [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, 21 September, 2007 1:40:36 AM Subject: Re: Bug#443274: dual-card setup doesn't work with X 1.4 On Thu, Sep 20, 2007 at 07:31:52 -0700, Aldemir Akpinar wrote: Hi, Please find the attached Xorg.0.log file. It looks like another Xpress 200 chipset related problem. You might want to try xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.7.193-1 currently in experimental, it contains some fixes for these chipsets. Or you can stay in testing (ati 6.6.3 + xserver-xorg-core 1.3). Or you can stay in unstable and use a rebuild of the old 6.6.3 driver for Xserver 1.4, I'll build that soon anyway. Bug#443427: looses flagged items randomly

Bug#441722: [Pkg-octave-devel] Bug#441722: octave2.9: package content changed if build twice or more times in a row

This is an upstream bug (confirmed and fixed in upstream's CVS). The PDF files are strange. When rebuilding the documentation, we end up with colour graphs, whereas the original graphs are black white. Thus the change in size (they become 4kb) which leads to dh_compress compressing them. Bug#442090: I think I know what causes this bug.
I think I know what causes this bug. I had almost the exact same experience (immediate segfault, nearly identical backtrace) when I used this debian package to install and run a game that uses luabind, called allacrost. The problem, as I understand it, is that both that game (or app) and luabind have to be compiled using the same version of g++. Tyler, try recompiling and installing the debian package (no changes necessary, just recompile) and see if your program will then run. Debian recently upgraded gcc from 4.1 to 4.2. I think the binary on the debian servers was compiled with 4.1. -Brandon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#442090: Possible problem cause identified
A couple of people on our forums that were seeking help for compiling Allacrost by source for Linux ran into problems with Luabind, and I believe we discovered that you have to use the same version of g++ to compile both our application and Luabind, otherwise bad things happen. See the following: http://www.allacrost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1759 http://www.allacrost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1853 This may or may not be the cause of the bug I filed in my report, but it could be worth investigating further. - Tyler -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
