Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) --- Begin Message --- Package: widelands Version: build9-5 Severity: normal Hello, I received 2 mails in less than 4 hours asking whether build9 fits for a stable release. Instead of answering again and again, here is my point: It's hard to say. It's already playable as is. Solo games do work but are maybe a bit boring since the AI doesn't. There is 2 tutorial scenario. The multi-player games between human on LAN are supposed to work (I never tried it myself), and WAN doesn't work yet (we're waiting for ggz to stabilize). So, yeah, I'd say that it fits for a stable release since some parts are. But you can argue that those parts are rather thin. I may ask upstream, if you feel it necessary. Thanks in advance, -- generate-mails.pl assisting Gerfried Fuchs --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following package(s) have been removed from unstable: libapache-ssi-perl | 2.19-2 | source, all Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug. The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the master archive (ftp-master.debian.org) and will not propagate to any mirrors (ftp.debian.org included) until the next cron.daily run at the earliest. Packages are never removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency problems. Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically removed from the Bug Tracking System. Bug#461157: still FTBFS + some more changes
reopen 461157 thanks Hi Cédric, gaphor still FTBFS - python-setuptools and python-nose should be moved to Buil-Depends for clean target and ez_setup disabled in setup.py to fix this bug. I also made few more changes (see attached diff.gz), here's a cut-and-paste from the changelog: * Moved python-setuptools and python-nose to Build-Depends (for clean target) * Add disable_ez_install patch, dpatch added to Build-Depends * Add remove_shebangs patch (previously in diff.gz) * Removed Encoding line from gaphor.desktop file, added Version=1.0 * Versions of required build dependencies bumped: + python-support to 0.6.4 - to handle Eggs well + python-nose to 0.9.2 - needed to run tests * Add python-cairo, python-gnome2 and python-gtk2 to Depends about moving patches to dpatch - I saw dpatch in other package of yours so I used it for disable_ez_install.dpatch. Then I noticed there are more changes in diff.gz, so I converted them to dpatch as well - hope you don't mind. BTW: there was an additional gaphor/UML/uml2.py file in diff.gz (automatically generated by build_uml.py) - I didn't move it to dpatch, please check if this file is required) gaphor_0.12.5-2.diff.gz Description: Binary data

Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) --- Begin Message --- Package: phpbb3 Version: 3.0.0~RC7-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable After installing the package, I was following the instructions in README.Debian. I logged in as Admin, and clicked on 'Administrator Control Panel' and it asked me to type in my password again. I get: General Error You need to enter your password to access the Administration Control Panel. I tried to find a fix for this by searching with Google and found this problem reported several times, but the only fix I could find was to update to RC7 style templates. I checked that the specific part of the login template that needed to be fixed for this was already up to RC7 specification (as was expected since I have just installed RC7 with no prior phpbb installation present, and have not added any styles or anything). Bug#430248: marked as done (ldbl128 transition for alpha, powerpc, sparc, s390)
Your message dated Sat, 19 Jan 2008 22:02:03 + with message-id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and subject line Bug#430248: fixed in cln 1.2.0-1 has caused the attached Bug report to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I am talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact me immediately.) Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) --- Begin Message --- Package: libcln-dev Severity: serious User: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Usertags: goal-ldbl128 Discussed in http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2007/05/msg01173.html With glibc-2.5 and gcc-4.1.2 (and gcc-4.2), the 'long double' data type did change from a 64bit representation to a 128bit representation on alpha, powerpc, sparc, s390. To allow partial upgrades of packages, we will need to rename all packages holding libraries with the long double data type in their API. Both libc and libstdc++ do not need to be renamed, because they support both representations. We rename the library packages on all architectures to avoid name mismatches between architectures (you can avoid the renaming by supporting both datatype representations in the library as done in glibc and libstdc++, but unless a library is prepared for that, it does not seem to be worth the effort). It is suggested to rename a package libfoo1 to libfoo1ldbl; please wait with the renaming if the package depends on another library package which needs renaming. This package has been indentified as one with header files in /usr/include matching 'long *double'. Please close this bug report if it is a false positive, or rename the package accordingly. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: cln Source-Version: 1.2.0-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of cln, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: cln_1.2.0-1.diff.gz to pool/main/c/cln/cln_1.2.0-1.diff.gz cln_1.2.0-1.dsc to pool/main/c/cln/cln_1.2.0-1.dsc cln_1.2.0.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/c/cln/cln_1.2.0.orig.tar.gz libcln-dev_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb to pool/main/c/cln/libcln-dev_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb libcln5_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb to pool/main/c/cln/libcln5_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb pi_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb to pool/main/c/cln/pi_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Bug#459649: f-spot: Extensions broken on upgrade
Judging by Ubuntu feedback, this seems to be a libflickrnet issue. libflickrnet was recently involved in a clusterfuck in Ubuntu Hardy: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libflickrnet/+bug/182130 and there are apparently still some incompatibilities with the new mono. For Ubuntu user Dani Alonso, even the mautil workaround didn't help. Instead, it output errors: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11440518/mautil_fspot_output.txt My theory is that libflickrnet fails to register somewhere: Assembly not found: FlickrNet, Version=2.1.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=2491df59efa5d132 ...causing errors in the F-Spot export classes: Load exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'FSpot.FlickrExport' from assembly 'f-spot, Version=0.4.1.0, Culture=neutral'. ...which in turn results in the entire export extension breaking, since the export code throws an exception before defining extension points: WARNING: The add-in 'FSpot.__GalleryExport,1.0' is trying to extend '/FSpot/Menus/Exports', but there isn't any add-in defining this extension point Unlike meebey, though, I didn't look at the F-Spot source, so I may be wrong. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Yes it helps, but thats no solution as libaqbanking20-plugins-qt depends on libaqofxconnect4, which I don't want to install. If I remove the ofx stuff and the plugins-qt QBM stops working again. This bug has been reported in Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/f-spot/+bug/184062 I wonder if the "20 refresh menus" patch is responsible. As for me, I had the Export menu empty before the upgrade to 0.4.1-1, where it was populated thanks to the "refresh menus" patch. A second upgrade to 0.4.1-4ubuntu2 went smoothly and the menus are still populated. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Bug#461527: kerry: architecture list restricted for no good reason?
Package: kerry Version: 0.2.2-1 Severity: serious Why did you restrict kerry's architecture list? In the changes you mentioned `* Arch: amd64 arm i386 ia64 powerpc to assist buildserver.net'. This looks very bogus to me. kerry's old version is in the archive for hppa, s390 and sparc, thus your package will not migrate, as long as the old binaries are present in unstable. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-k7 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages vlc depends on: di libaa1 1.4p5-30ascii art library di libatk1. 1.12.4-3The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc62.3.6.ds1-13etch4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries di libcaca0 0.99.beta11.debian-2colour ASCII art library di libcairo 1.2.4-4 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra di libcdio6 0.76-1 library to read and control CD-ROM di libcucul 0.99.beta11.debian-2low-level Unicode character drawin di libdbus- 1.0.2-1 simple interprocess messaging syst di libdbus- 0.71-3 simple interprocess messaging syst di libfontc 2.4.2-1.2 generic font configuration library ii libfreet 2.2.1-5+etch2 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib di libfribi 0.10.7-4Free Implementation of the Unicode di libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library di libgl1-m 6.5.1-0.6 A free implementation of the OpenG di libglib2 2.12.4-2The GLib library of C routines di libglu1- 6.5.1-0.6 The OpenGL utility library (GLU) di libgtk2. 2.8.20-7The GTK+ graphical user interface di libice6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library di libiso96 0.76-1 library to work with ISO9660 files di libjpeg6 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG di libnotif 0.4.3-1 sends desktop no
