Bug#776911: Not only in VMs
Actually, this problem does not ocurr only virtual machines and/or older hardware. It also happens in my Core i7 950 with a AMD Radeon R7-260X. But does not happen on my Core i7 Toshiba Z930 which has an integrated Intel HD4xxx graphics card.

Those are fixed in libcangjie 1.3, which is already in experimental. Moving from 1.2 to 1.3 implies no API/ABI break. It only comes with fixes to the Cangjie data set. The full release notes are available at this link: https://github.com/Cangjians/libcangjie/releases/tag/v1.3 Please update libcangjie to 1.3 in Jessie. The best thing would be in the initial release, else at a release point, and else in backports. Having libcangjie up to date in Jessie would mean that Hong Kong people (who majoritarily input Chinese with a Cangjie input method) would have a great out-of-the box experience with Jessie. As the upstream developer for libcangjie, I'm willing to work with you to review differences, help backport patches, or anything else which could help. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_HK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_HK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: libcangjie Source-Version: 1.2-2 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of libcangjie, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. Bug#780880: squeeze update of inspircd?
Hi, InspIRCd is a rather fast moving project. 1.1 has been considered EOL by us for over 6 years (and considered old for 8), and we dont have anyone left who developed 1.1, or have anyone with any working knowledge of it in any way as far as Im aware. If you want to patch it youre on your own, we would recommend removing the package. We think that there are other major problems with it, but weve forgotten what they are. As far as 2.0.5, I have combined the various commits in the original report here: https://github.com/Adam-/inspircd/commit/e953a402add27edfbb31337ee6510b79462 a3c96. I have also made an entire branch forked off of 2.0.5 including important fixes seen here: https://github.com/Adam-/inspircd/commits/debian7 if you choose to take any of them. The other fixes here are non-security related, but are stability related. I do not wish to directly fix this myself, but am open to questions/support etc. Adam On Fri, 10 Apr 2015 21:50:44 +0200 Raphael Hertzog wrote: > Hello dear maintainer(s), > > the Debian LTS team would like to fix the security issues which are > currently open in the Squeeze version of inspircd: > https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/source-package/inspircd > > Would you like to take care of this yourself? Every failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures. The build was done with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="parallel=4", so if your packaging tries to support this, it might be a good idea to explore whether this might be the cause of the failure. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: minbar Source-Version: 0.2.1-8 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of minbar, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. However, kernels don't seem to run at all, in any form and with any queue properties. Buffers return untouched. Discussion with people on #opencl indicate that the bug: * affects upstream; * only occurs when using beignet through the ICD interface; * has been introduced _probably_ somewhere between 1.0.0 and 1.0.1. Bug#782414: sugar-presence-service broken due to deprecated telepathy-gabble Tubes API

Thanks for reporting. As we already discussed on irc, I agree that apart from the long-term solution of Sugar rewritten to use newer Tubes API there's really no alternative to re-introducing the older API as a separate package. I have prepared a package, we have both tested that indeed it works, and I am now polishing for official release to Debian, tracked at http://bugs.debian.org/782448 . Sadly it is totally unreasonable to expect a new Debian package to get included in Jessie while in deep freeze, so I see no other option than to request the removal of *all* Sugar packages for the Jessie release: Sugar without collaboration is broken Sugar! :-( I have hesitated, to try come up with smarter approaches, but Jessie release is fast approaching, so I will probably file the gigantic removal request later today... Just to be clear: I will request removal from Jessie branch of Debian only - packages will stay in unstable and experimental. - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private signature.asc Description: signature

In Debian, xorg depends on: xfonts-base (>= 1:1.0.0-1), xfonts-100dpi (>= 1:1.0.0-1), xfonts-75dpi (>= 1:1.0.0-1), xfonts-scalable (>= 1:1.0.0-1), This was changed in Ubuntu some time ago: xorg (1:7.5+6ubuntu7) natty; urgency=low * debian/control: Drop xfonts-{75,100}dpi from Depends: to Suggests:. We don't need them for a normal desktop installation, and even xcalc/xterm don't need them, but they are quite sizable. -- Martin PittTue, 11 Jan 2011 18:41:09 -0600 Michael, please go ahead and reschedule to delayed/0. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
