Dear Maintainer,

after upgrading debian buster and after checking for timer conflicts

Bug#366501: bug not reproduceable

2006-05-19 Thread Bernd Schumacher
To check the problem I have done the following today, and can not find the
described problem. Here is exactly what I have done:

1. download etch beta 2 network installation-cd-image i386 built on 20060304
2. default install on vmware
   langugage=English country=Germany keymap=German other=
3. Debian software selection: nothing
=> Now kernel kernel 2.6.15 and grub are installed

4. apt-get install bootcd ssh bootcd-mkinitrd (gets also some dependencies)
5. bootcdmkinitrd (gives some warnings, but works)
6. reboot
7. bootcdwrite (without any config changes)
8. scp /var/spool/bootcd/cdimage.iso
7. boot from cd (without any options)
=> OK

Did you run bootcdmkinitrd ?
Does bootcdmkinitrd work in a chroot environment created with debootstrap ?
