Bug#831808: stegfs: segfault on mount

2016-07-19 Thread Bernhard Kuemel
Package: stegfs
Version: 2015.08-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

After some trial and error I think I found the correct syntax but it
still fails:

root@b:~# rm stegfs; mkstegfs -z 100 stegfs
Location : /root/stegfs
Blocks : 51,200
Size : 100 MB
Capacity : 96.48 MB
Largest file : 12.06 MB
Writing : 100.000 %
Duplication : 8 ×
Cipher : RIJNDAEL256
Cipher mode : CBC
Hash : SHA256
Superblock : Done

root@b:~# stegfs stegfs xx
Segmentation fault

As normal user I also get this warning, but that seems to be ok:

bernhard@b:~$ stegfs stegfs xx
Warning: using insecure memory!
Segmentation fault

Thanks, Bernhard

PS: I tried to file this bugreport on
https://albinoloverats.net/?tracker=create but the submit button didn't
work, so I'm using debians reportbug.

Because I didn't want to install the dependencies of the
current esniper in unstable I compiled and installed from source
(debian/rules binary ; dpkg -i esniper.deb) and it still
doesn't work. Dunno if this is a dupe of bug #627321.

Bug#604820: xserver-xorg: fragments of video memory displayed during login

2010-11-24 Thread Bernhard Kuemel
Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.5+7
Severity: grave
Tags: security
Justification: user security hole

When I log in to my X server with kdm fragments of video memory and
previous screen content are displayed shortly. I made some screen shots
with a digital camera:

http://darsie.dyndns.org/bernhard/xorg/

I managed to capture some source code I opened for editing. Any
previous screen content could be leaked to successive users of the same
computer.

I'm not sure if this is an issue of xserver-xorg. Could be the window
manager, too, or something else.

Bug#594578: fgfs-base is useless without flightgear

2010-08-27 Thread Bernhard Kuemel
Package: fgfs-base
Version: 1.0.0-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

squeeze/testing has the package fgfs-base but not flightgear.
fgfs-base are data files which are useless without the flight simulator
package flightgear. Since squeeze is already frozen, does this mean
there will be no flightgear in sqeeze/stable?

Bug#567770: e16: window title bar missing, ugly borders, alt-tab not working

2010-03-17 Thread Bernhard Kuemel
Package: e16
Version: 1.0.0-3.1
Severity: normal

Maybe a month or 2 ago after an upgrade I got these problems:

1) The window title bars have disappeared, including close, maximize,
minimize buttons.

2) The windows got ugly thick borders. Fortunately with these borders I
could drag the windows (with the left mouse button), close them (middle
button) and resize them (right button).

Appearently due to these borders the panel is now partially off the
screen at the bottom.

3) Alt-tab window switching no longer works.

I'm not sure if this is caused by the config file relocation.

Bug#566753: esniper: Package 2.22.0-1 contains version 2.18.1

2010-01-24 Thread Bernhard Kuemel
Package: esniper
Version: 2.22.0-1

Justification: renders package unusable

esniper failed probably because ebay had changed its
weblayout. I upgraded esniper (I use testing), and because
it still didn't work, I upgraded it to unstable. Still not
working. Weird thing is the esniper in unstable thinks it
is version 2.18.1 while unstable thinks it is 2.22.0-1.
