Bug#337110: libaire0: Uninstallable due to libclutils0 -> libclutils0c2
> libaire0 is not installable anymore in sid as libclutils0 is not > available anymore due to the C++ ABI transition of clutils. Rebuilding > might solve this bug, but please don't upload a package just for > rebuilding the sources, ask the Debian Release Team for binNMUs instead. I'm in the process of updating the packages to newer upstream sources. I'm short on time but I've been chipping away at it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks, Dale -- Dale E. Bug#327312: Intention to NMU
> Attached the patch for the version I intend to upload. Please respond if > you don't want this NMU to happen, if you are working yourself on a > patch or if you think that the attached patch won't work. I uploaded a new version over the weekend (to anonymous-ftp-master) that was rejected. It looked almost identical to your version here. I believe that I did not base my version off of the latest in Debian - now I need to see why that is. In any case, I am working on this and my other packages - sorry for being slow. Bug#325155: etc
> Any news on fixing this bug? It's making at least one other package > (tyvis) FTBFS, too (though that package has other bugs, anyway). I recently did the ABI transition for the library this package depends on - clutils. I'm working on the ABI transition for this package as well as part of this upload. I've fixed the mpich-dev issue and that will be part of the next upload. Thanks, Dale -- Dale E.
