Bug#410248: tk-gnutella-0.96.1svn12109-1: Will not start as user

2007-02-18 Thread Dererk
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi Paul!

As the mail you sent says:

- -
Sorry, this program is too ancient to run without
an explicit user action: If it's not possible to upgrade
you may edit the file

/home/debian64/.gtk-gnutella/config_gnet

and set the variable "ancient_version_force" to
"gtk-gnutella/0.96.2u (2006-09-23; r0; GTK2; Linux x86_64)".

- -

It complains about the version of the gnutella client you are using
being too old, just do this:

Edit /home/debian64/.gtk-gnutella/config_gnet replacing:
#ancient_version_force = ""
 with:
ancient_version_force = "gtk-gnutella/0.96.2u (2006-09-23; r0; GTK2;
Linux x86_64)"

As for the bug itself, I think that It must be closed, and replaced
with the lastest version available on SVN, which builds perfectly fine
as lot of ppl suggest in #396132, hoping to close three bugs in one
shot, or unless change the bug severity to medium or less.

I think this is certainly not an RC one!

Bug#423531: Icedove gets freezed when using Enigmail extension loading a mail signed/encrypted

2007-05-12 Thread Dererk
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Package: enigmail
Version: 2:0.94.2-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Icedove gets freezed when using Enigmail extension loading a mail
signed/encrypted
It says in the button "Loading..." and I've to kill gpg from a
terminal to stop Icedove getting freezed.

I don't certainly know if the problem comes from Enigmail itself, or
from gpg when trying to load from the signs db.

Please, mailme for more information.

Bug#396132: #396132: gtk-gnutella: stable upstream version is out

2007-03-31 Thread Dererk
Hi again,

I'm really sad that this matter didn't go to anywhere during this 4
months, even more, being the upstream source already debianized! :(

I'll try to remark the main subject here:
*The available version (even on sid) is _USELESS_ on gnutella network*

Please, upload the current version on svn, 0.96.3.

Thanks in advance,

Dererk

ps: I compiled it myself with no problems at all.
