Bug#993350: xsane: Scanimage detects scanner but Xsane won't start it
Scanimage fails starting the scan, too. The result of "scanimage -d epson2:libusb:002:005 --format png -o /home/georg/unsinn.png" is "scanimage: sane_start: Operation not supported". Georg

Bug#634680: Installing base system stops with error message The bzcat ist not available on the system
Hi, if you want a quick workaround, you can install LMDE = Linux Mint Debian Edition from www.linuxmint.com/download_lmde.php . You get a complete Debian testing system with a nice gnome (still 2) gui. Greetings, Georg
Bug#390270: amaya: Amaya corrupts files when saving
Ok, {1} Create a html file beginning with an xml statement, such as ?xml version=1.0 encoding=utf-8? !DOCTYPE html PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd; html xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml; head title/title meta http-equiv=Content-Type content=text/html; charset=utf-8 / /head body/body /html {2} Open it with Amaya and change it, e. g. by inserting a blank character. Save it. {3} Open the saved file with a text editor and you will see what I mean. Greetings, Georg Am Samstag, den 02.12.2006, 18:53 + schrieb Regis Boudin: Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying. The bug arrived at the wrong time and found itself sort of lost... Anyway, I don't really understand what the problem is, or how to trigger it. Do you have a way to reproduce the problem, so that I can either try to fix the problem or check with upstream ?
