Package: memtest86+

I recently had this same problem, too (now solved by forcing the 
sid packages as mentioned in #586815 #550704 etc)

In my system the "dummy transitional package" grub still exists, 
but even then memtest86+ (now?) suggests grub-pc | grub-legacy
Since this is just a suggestion there should be no problem with
it even in your config (suggestion there, too).

I'd say this is a bug just triggered by memtest86+ since there 
were not that many kernel-updates recently and belongs to grub2.

That's the joy of "testing". Every year or so debian wants to show
that testing != stable, it seems ;-)

@maintainer: please reassign and merge with #586815 or so.
