Bug#677714: wine-unstable: Incomplete upload of 1.5 for amd64

2012-06-28 Thread Jakub Moc
Dear maintainer, is this some sort of poor joke, or what is going on
here? After the latest update to 1.5.6-1, installing wine-unstable
results in installing two dummy, empty and absolutely useless packages
on amd64.

$ dpkg -L wine{,64-bin}-unstable
/.
/usr
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/libwine-unstable
/usr/share/doc/wine-unstable

/.
/usr
/usr/bin
/usr/bin/wine
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/libwine-unstable
/usr/share/doc/wine64-bin-unstable

Bug#677714: [pkg-wine-party] Bug#677714: wine-unstable: Incomplete upload of 1.5 for amd64

2012-06-28 Thread Jakub Moc
2012/6/28 Michael Gilbert mgilb...@debian.org:
 Try typing wine.
We could probably be better at being informative with a NEWS entry,
but its not really at the top of my list of things to do.  I would
certainly be willing to apply an appropriate patch for that.

 Best wishes,
 Mike

Well, the only patch I could offer here would be at least making the
instructions *correct*. Since people installing wine-unstable hardly
want to

# apt-get install wine-bin:i386

to install the outdated stuff.

Bug#677714: wine-unstable: Incomplete upload of 1.5 for amd64

2012-06-24 Thread Jakub Moc
 That's because it's i386-only and wine-unstable:amd64 should install
wine-bin-unstable:i386 (well, when i386 arch is enabled manually). Feel
free to open a bug asking to document all of that because it's confusing
 indeed.

I am sorry, this is not confusing, this is simply mispackaged. The
package is not installable as it is, kindly also note:

3.5 Dependencies
Every package must specify the dependency information about other
packages that are required for the first to work correctly.

There is a perfectly sanely packaged wine available at
http://dev.carbon-project.org/debian/wine-unstable/ for both i386 and
amd64 and I really do not understand what are you doing here. :(

Package: dmraid

Bug#669949: sysvinit: Break X11: no more mouse and keyboard

2012-06-07 Thread Jakub Moc
Definitely caused by /run - /var/run symlink here. After getting rid
of that and creating /run dir in /, I have my keyboard, mouse and
sound back. Extremely weird bug, also only got this recently, been
running unstable for quite a while on LMDE.
