Bug#673185: gnome-shell: segfault error 4 in libaccountsservice.so.0.0.0

2012-05-23 Thread Lech Karol Pawłaszek
Hello.

I've also encountered this bug and I am able to reproduce it always by
just attaching power cord to my laptop. So going from battery to power
cord segfaults libaccountservice. What's interesting - going from power
cord to battery doesn't.

If I can help - just let me know. Kind regards,

Bug#618904: openldap 2.4.23 slapd server process frequently hangs during everyday use

2011-05-19 Thread Lech Karol Pawłaszek
reopen 618904
thanks

Hello.

I've hit the same bug recently. However it's reproducible only on 64-bit
architecture. 32bit works without problems.

I'll move to 32bit for now but it would be great if 64-bit was fixed in
Debian stable.

Or would it be possible to ship (at least) 2.4.24 with 6.0.2 which
supposedly fixes this issue?

Kind regards,

Bug#610030: gnome-shell doesn't start (missing depedency?)

2011-01-14 Thread Lech Karol Pawłaszek
Package: gnome-shell
Version: 2.91.5-1
Severity: grave
Tags: experimental
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello.

Today I've upgraded gnome-shell from 2.91.3-2 to 2.91.5-1. And as the
2.91.3-2 version (kinda) worked the 2.91.5-1 version doesn't.

ike@macbook:~$ gnome-shell -r
mutter: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-3.0.so.0:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

My little investigation shows that according to this:
http://packages.debian.org/search?searchon=contentskeywords=libgtk-x11-3.0.so.0mode=filenamesuite=experimentalarch=any

library is in libgtk3.0-0 package and I have this package installed:
macbook:~# apt-cache policy libgtk3.0-0
libgtk3.0-0:
  Installed: 2.99.2-1
  Candidate: 2.99.2-1

however file list for amd64 doesn't show this file:
http://packages.debian.org/experimental/amd64/libgtk3.0-0/filelist

How can I help to make gnome-shell usable again?

Kind regards,

The other reports in this bug are different bugs. Please don't steal

Hello again.

Sorry - I didn't want to open another bug because i thought that this
one is about the same issue.

Anyway - I've updated yesterday gnome-shell to 2.91.3-2 from
experimental and gnome-shell works for me again.

Thanks a lot and have a nice holidays.

Bug#594535: cannot start after upgrade to 2.29.0-3+b1

2010-11-09 Thread Lech Karol Pawłaszek
Package: gnome-shell
Version: 2.31.5-2
Severity: normal

Hello. I've just installed gnome-shell from experimental and now I have
enocuntered the same (I suppose) issue. The screen blinks all the time.
That is - the background is solid (doesn't blink) and desktop icons
blink all the time. And that's actually everything I can see - there
is no panel at the top and windows (which I am able to open double
clicking on blinking icons) doesn't have any borders. The same applies
to power-off menu (CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE) which blinks and doesn't have
any border.

Actually blinking is not very good term. Icons and windows disappear
for a second (well. not for a second per se) and then reappear (you
can see only the background image) so one have illusion of blinking.

FWIW I have switched completly over to gnome-shell and I doesn't
run gnome-shell -r at all.

Hello Jon.

 Is this the same bug?

Well... actually it might be. I'm not so skilled in gnome-shell foo but

Yes. There is such big space (don't know if relevant so I didn't trim
it). If there is anything I can try/test - just let me know ;-)
