Bug#673185: gnome-shell: segfault error 4 in libaccountsservice.so.0.0.0
Hello. I've also encountered this bug and I am able to reproduce it always by just attaching power cord to my laptop. So going from battery to power cord segfaults libaccountservice. What's interesting - going from power cord to battery doesn't. If I can help - just let me know. Bug#618904: openldap 2.4.23 slapd server process frequently hangs during everyday use
reopen 618904 thanks Hello. I've hit the same bug recently. However it's reproducible only on 64-bit architecture. 32bit works without problems. I'll move to 32bit for now but it would be great if 64-bit was fixed in Debian stable. Or would it be possible to ship (at least) 2.4.24 with 6.0.2 which supposedly fixes this issue? Bug#594535: [gnome-shell] cannot start after upgrade to 2.29.0-3+b1
The other reports in this bug are different bugs. Please don't steal Hello again. Sorry - I didn't want to open another bug because i thought that this one is about the same issue. Anyway - I've updated yesterday gnome-shell to 2.91.3-2 from experimental and gnome-shell works for me again. Thanks a lot and have a nice holidays. -- Lech Karol Pawłaszek ike You will never see me fall from grace [KoRn] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#594535: cannot start after upgrade to 2.29.0-3+b1
Package: gnome-shell Version: 2.31.5-2 Severity: normal Hello. I've just installed gnome-shell from experimental and now I have enocuntered the same (I suppose) issue. The screen blinks all the time. That is - the background is solid (doesn't blink) and desktop icons blink all the time. And that's actually everything I can see - there is no panel at the top and windows (which I am able to open double clicking on blinking icons) doesn't have any borders. The same applies to power-off menu (CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE) which blinks and doesn't have any border. Actually blinking is not very good term. Icons and windows disappear for a second (well. not for a second per se) and then reappear (you can see only the background image) so one have illusion of blinking. FWIW I have switched completly over to gnome-shell and I doesn't run gnome-shell -r at all. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-shell depends on: ii gconf2 2.31.5-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii gir1.0-clutter-1.0 1.2.12-3 GObject introspection data for the ii gir1.0-freedesktop 0.6.14-1+b1 Introspection data for some FreeDe ii gir1.0-gconf-2.02.31.5-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii gir1.0-glib-2.0 0.9.12-2 Introspection data for GLib, GObje ii gir1.0-gtk-2.0 0.6.5-6+b1 GObject introspection data for the ii gir1.0-json-glib-1.00.10.2-2 GLib JSON manipulation library (do ii gir1.0-mutter-2.31 2.31.2-3 GObject introspection data for Mut ii gjs 0.7.1-1 Mozilla-based javascript bindings ii libatk1.0-0 1.30.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.8.10-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libclutter-1.0-01.2.12-3 Open GL based interactive canvas l ii libcroco3 0.6.2-1 a generic Cascading Style Sheet (C ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.24-3 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-20.88-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libffi5 3.0.9-3 Foreign Function Interface library ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-2.1generic font configuration library ii libfreetype62.4.2-2 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgconf2-4 2.31.5-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libgirepository1.0-00.6.14-1+b1 Library for handling GObject intro ii libgjs0a0.7.1-1 Mozilla-based javascript bindings ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1 7.7.1-4 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglib2.0-02.27.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-desktop-2-17 2.30.2-1 Utility library for loading .deskt ii libgnome-menu2 2.30.3-1 an implementation of the freedeskt ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.30-1Core GStreamer libraries and eleme ii libgtk2.0-0 2.22.0-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libjson-glib-1.0-0 0.10.2-2 GLib JSON manipulation library ii libmozjs2d 1.9.1.15-1 The Mozilla SpiderMonkey JavaScrip ii libnspr4-0d 4.8.6-1 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.3-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libstartup-notification 0.10-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libx11-62:1.3.3-3X11 client-side library ii libxcomposite1 1:0.4.3-1X11 Composite extension library ii libxdamage1 1:1.1.3-1X11 damaged region extension libra ii libxext62:1.1.2-1X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes3 1:4.0.5-1X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ii libxml2 2.7.8.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library ii mesa-utils 7.7.1-4 Miscellaneous Mesa GL utilities ii mutter 2.31.5-1 lightweight GTK+ window manager ii pkg-config 0.25-1.1 manage compile and link flags for ii python 2.6.6-3+squeeze1 interactive high-level object-orie ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages gnome-shell recommends: ii xserver-xephyr2:1.7.7-8 nested X server gnome-shell suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
