Bug#885603: gajim in stretch-backports depends on python3-nbxmpp, which is not in stretch-backports

2017-12-28 Thread Patrik Marschalik
Package: gajim
Version: 0.16.8-3~bpo9+1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

when trying to upgrade gajim from stretch-backports I get the following:

$ apt upgrade gajim
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 gajim : Depends: python3-nbxmpp (>= 0.6.0) but 0.5.4-1 is to be installed
 Recommends: fonts-noto-color-emoji but it is not going to be installed
 Recommends: gajim-omemo (>= 2.5.1) but it is not going to be installed
 Recommends: gajim-pgp but it is not going to be installed
 Recommends: gir1.2-farstream-0.2 but it is not going to be installed
 Recommends: gir1.2-gspell-1 but it is not going to be installed
 Recommends: gir1.2-gupnpigd-1.0 but it is not going to be installed
 Recommends: gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly but it is not installable
 Recommends: python3-gnupg (>= 0.4.1) but it is not going to be
installed
 Recommends: python3-precis-i18n but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

I guess the problem is a missing python3-nbxmpp (>= 0.6.0) package in
stretch-backports.

Thanks for your help.
