Bug#471338: libzipios++-doc: Documentation is unreadable as is
Package: libzipios++-doc Version: 0.1.5.9+cvs.2007.04.28-4 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable The current documentation is unreadable as the directory of the package manager is hardcoded in all the html files. Also, files were renamed, replacing any internal '.' by '_8'. I don't know if this is debian policy to have no more than one dot per file name, but in any case, either the file names in the html of the real file names have to be changed. To fix this, I: 1 - removed the absolute path specification in each link (simply using regexxer, but any search/replace utility works) 2 - renamed all the files with this command: rename 's/_8/./' * And this works for me. Bug#460639: libgl1-mesa-glx: Fatal error during package installation
Package: libgl1-mesa-glx Version: 7.0.2-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable While installing the package, I get this error: Unpacking replacement libgl1-mesa-glx ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libgl1-mesa-glx_7.0.2-3_i386.deb (--unpack): unable to create `./usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2': No such file or directory dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe) And I cannot get around it. Package: texlive-base-bin Version: 2007-7 Followup-For: Bug #421969 While trying to upgrade this package, a huge number of etex and pdfetex sub-processes were created. Probably hundreds of them ! It ate all my memory (i.e. more than 2GB of RAM) and I had to kill them by hand to regain control over my computer. Obviously, the install then fails. -- Package-specific info: If you report an error when running one of the TeX-related binaries (latex, pdftex, metafont,...), or if the bug is related to bad or wrong output, please include a MINIMAL example input file that produces the error in your report. Don't forget to also include minimal examples of other files that are needed, e.g. bibtex databases. Often it also helps to include the logfile. Please, never send included pictures! If your example file isn't short or produces more than one page of output (except when multiple pages are needed to show the problem), you can probably minimize it further. Bug#421969: texlive-base-bin: Huge number of etex and pdfetex sub-processes created
Hi, I linked this message to #421969 as the final message (once every process was killed) was the same. I must say I didn't see the bug #419987 in the list (sorry about that, I will look more carefully next time). However, I did not get xmltex installed ! I installed the latest version of xmltex and now it seems to be working properly. Thanks, -- Pierre Ralf Stubner wrote: Pierre Barbier de Reuille wrote: Package: texlive-base-bin Version: 2007-7 Followup-For: Bug #421969 Why do you think this is related to #421969?
