Package: kcheckgmail Version: 0.5.5-2 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Architecture: i386 Hi there, I think I have found a grave problem in the kcheckgmail that comes with Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 "etch". Basically, it always fails to authenticate to gmail.com, with the following error message: "Erreur inconnue lors de la récupération des cookies" which roughly translates to: "Unknown error while retrieving cookies". Bug#415234: kcheckgmail from etch is unable to check mail on gmail.com
Hi there :) Well I just tried doing the apt-get build-dep, but it appears apt cannot find the source packages, look: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 14:38 /root/source/kcheckgmail>apt-get build-dep kcheckgmail Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done E: Unable to find a source package for kcheckgmail Of course the first thing I check was the presence of deb-src stanzas in /etc/apt/sources.list Here is my /etc/apt/sources.list : # # deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux testing _Etch_ - Official Snapshot i386 kde-CD Binary-1 20070312-00:18]/ etch contrib main deb http://ftp.belnet.be/debian/ etch main non-free contrib deb-src http://ftp.belnet.be/debian/ etch main non-free contrib deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org etch main ... maybe am I doing it wrong ? I just did apt-get upgrade && apt-get install kcheckgmail It works very well :) Thanks a lot, -- Pierre Bauduin Linux enthusiast since 1996 Debian GNU/Linux user website: http://pierre.baudu.in/ 2007/4/1, Raphael <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Hi everybody, I just made what I hope will be the last source commits to the CVS. I will notify the translators mailing list so they update the translations before KCheckGMail 0.5.6 is released. Pierre, you can now have the latest version by installing the package from http://deb.atomo64.puffinhost.com/ On 31/03/07, Raphael <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello, > > On 31/03/07, Pierre Bauduin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi there :) > > > > Well I just tried doing the apt-get build-dep, but it appears apt cannot > > find the source packages, look: > > > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] 14:38 /root/source/kcheckgmail>apt-get > > build-dep kcheckgmail > > Reading package lists...
