Could you please tell me how to do this!?

Tried to build kvm_63+dfsg-2 today on amd64, with "apt-src install --build
kvm". Still error from unsatisfied dependancy 'etherboot'. On amd64 kvm can
not be build.

IMO this is a very poor state for the kvm package. I don't need etherboot in
conjunction with kvm, so why kvm has to depend on it?

Thomas

Bug#469125: kvm/63+dfsg-1 with fixed bug again...

2008-03-17 Thread Thomas Besser
Hadn't time to test the fixed kvm/62+dfsg-3 source package last week, as today
already the next kvm version is available in unstable.

Unfortunately with the old recently fixed bug (dependency etherboot does not
exist in amd64) in source package.

Bug#469125: kvm: Building on amd64 fails because of dependency to etherboot which does only exist on i386

2008-03-03 Thread Thomas Besser
Package: kvm
Version: 62+dfsg-2
