Bug#653964: glassfish predictable hash collisions

I do not think that we are vulnerable because Debian does not ship a
full glassfish stack. We build some core libs only.

Can you ensure that fixed packages are uploaded to sid as soon as possible,
and assert whether a fix for lenny and squeeze would be necessary?

I do not even understand how to reproduce the issue. May you elaborate
on that, please?

Thanks,

Hmmm... I wasn't able to reproduce the build failure in a clean squeeze

this is an arch-specific bug, and the buildd logs don't show enough
detail to discern the issue.  Has someone else been able to reproduce
 the failure?

I can reproduce the problem after switching off the network (rm
/etc/resolv.conf) in the chroot environment. I really support the idea
of building software without network access but I cannot find such a
requirement in the Debian policy. I vote for downgrading the bug to
important.

I cannot reproduce the problem in a cowbuilder chroot on i386. The prerm runs

A segmentation fault is probably not a bug in hbase.
