Bug#879518: ifupdown: fail to start with bridge_stp on and recursion detected in parent-lock with vlan after jessie upgrade

2017-10-22 Thread Daniel Huhardeaux
I investigate further and discover that the the message "recursion
detected in parent-lock" appears in *ALL* vlan interfaces (.1 .2 .100
.1001 .1002), not only the 2 first one as I reported.
After having removed all pre-up bone and pre-up bone.vlan in interfaces
file, I was able to again set bridge_stp on without getting the "set
forward delay failed: Numerical result out of range" message.
This means that bridge_stp on error is a result from the pre-up bone and
bone.vlan behavior.

Yes. So i decide to clean all java applications -it give me one reason
more to hate java ;-)- (jre14-mozilla, java-gcj-compat, ...) to stay
only with sun-java-6. Now it works again cleanly, without the
MOZILLA_NO_JEMALLOC=1.

Thanks for your help and time.

more to hate java ;-)- (jre14-mozilla, java-gcj-compat, ...) to stay
only with sun-java-6. Now it works again cleanly, without the
MOZILLA_NO_JEMALLOC=1.

Where does this jre14-mozilla come from ?

I don't know. My source list didn't change and I can't find this package. I
suspect that one day I found it on the net, ran a dpkg -i and it solved my
problem -remember, it's an amd64- Usual java issue ...

At first I faced the #425390 bug and now this one. Seems that #425727
could be merged.

It's a amd64 Core 2 Dual, kernel 2.6.21, Debian SID.

Bug#395383: Severity justification

What evidence do you have that kdeprint is unusable?

Let's say that having to copy on another computer files I want to be
printed is a good evidence ;-)

Bug#395383: kdeprint: Documents are mot printed

2006-10-27 Thread Daniel Huhardeaux

I went a step further. I restart the computer and:

- open a text file with konqueror and print it with kdeprint: it's ok
- open a pdf file and print it with kdeprint: it's ok
- open an OpenOffice odt file and print it: it's ok
- open an OpenOffice *odg* file and print it: _printing failed_

From this point, I can't now print anymore, even by killing all tasks
concerning the last launched print task which are still running. Another
strange thing is that printing a pdf file with kdeprint shows me the
name from txt file I printed before!

Kjobviewer (with faulty name) as well as cups displays the task as being
currently printed, nothing is going on. When I cancel the job (doesn't
matter Kjobview or Cups), he's removed from the list but I still have
pids running -see attached file sended with bug opening- and 'gs' taking
lots of CPU

I guess that kdeprint is not faulty (partly only?) and could be more a
gs problem. If you have some testing I could start to point out what
exactly happend, please let me know.

Regards

Bug#395383: kdeprint: Documents are mot printed

2006-10-26 Thread daniel huhardeaux
Package: kdeprint
Version: 4:3.5.5a-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

After having faced bug #392052 I still can't print from KDE with cups. Printing
from OpenOffice is
working.

In cups I see that printing is on the way but nothing happend. In fact, 'top'
is showing that gs is
taking lots of CPU% ~50% Attached you will found a 'ps ax' output as well as
the 'top' output for gs.
The printing tasks stays and never finish if I don't kill them.

I don't know if it's a KDE Print System related problem or a gs one. The file I
try to print is a pdf
one.

Bug#338309: ndiswrapper-source: oops in update_wireless_stats

2005-12-16 Thread Daniel Huhardeaux

Adrian, thanks for the patch. Works great. :-)

Claudio, I retried the 1.5 with 2.16.11: no problem, so *it's* a kernel
upgrade matter or, if you prefer, call it as an incompatibility between
1.5 sources and 2.6.14 kernel ;-)

BTW, is there any reason to not have the latest (1.6 1.7) sources +
utils in SID?
