Bug#384962: locale unusable with current firefox

2006-09-12 Thread gerhard oettl
Same story here, but as suggested in bug 364454

aptitude reinstall firefox-locale-de

revived the language support.

Maybe the postinst script of firefix should search
for language-packages and reinstall them. Overkill?

Bug#382058: svk: Cant load _Core.so

2006-08-08 Thread gerhard oettl

After updating libsvn-core-perl from 1.1.4-2 (sarge) to
1.2.3dfsg1-3 (etch) it works again. So it looks like the
dependencies should be adjusted.

Bug#351097: elinks shows no content

2006-02-02 Thread gerhard oettl
Subject: elinks shows no content
Package: elinks
Version: 0.10.4-7
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

*** Please type your report below this line ***
Elinks only shows URI (upper right) and statusline: OK [-]
but no content on one host. On other host it works fine.
What i discovered is that on the failing host the shared libs
are taken from /lib where the same libs on the working host
shows to /lib/tls (output from ldd).
If helpfull i also can send output from strace to compare the
working with the failing version.
Noticeable on the failing host are many lines like:
mmap2(...) = -1 ENOSYS (Function not implemented)
old_mmap(...) = -1 EINVAL (Invalid argument)
that do not appear in the strace output of the working host.

thanks
