What does

command -v hubicfuse

show?

Hi,

Oh yes ! The result is /usr/local/bin/hubicfuse that bypassed my command !

This is a remain of an old try. I remove this to keep only the package
file and everything works fine. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

So this report could be closed.

Thank you very much.

Bug#593812: debian-installer: Impossible to answer to questions on normal install

2010-08-20 Thread rpnpif
Package: debian-installer
Severity: grave

debian-installer (netinstall) of 2010-08-19.
With normal mode of install (ncurses ?), it is impossible to answer to setup
questions (configure) seen in the background screen (Alt-F4). The install
freeze.
Only a kill action in busybox can do to continue. But the results of the

Bug#593814: fetchmail starts too early in init scripts

2010-08-21 Thread rpnpif
Package: fetchmail
Version: 6.3.17-4
Severity: grave
Justification: causes non-serious data loss

/etc/init.d/fetchmail has
# Should-Start: $mail-transport-agent exim4
but fetchmail starts very early and failed to deliver mails because
The mail transport agent is not ready.
This issue could loss mails.
I suggest that /etc/init.d/fetchmail has :

1.
# Required-Start:$network $local_fs $remote_fs $syslog $mail-transport-agent
# Required-Stop: $remote_fs $mail-transport-agent

2.
Fetchmail does not need usually to start immediately after the boot. A delay
of few minutes (one ?) before the fetchmail start could improve security of
delivering (for ie : to enable a good antispam starting).

I think that it is not normal because the install freezes and I should not kill
the process to continue. It is a method for experts not for normal user that
install a system.

Ie : to upgrade initramfstools to 0.98 in mode debootstrap, a request to confirm
the modification of conf files is expect by the installer but an interactive
answer
is impossible, so installer waited for an infinite time. The answer should be
automatic as in graphic mode of the installer.

Bug#820342: gpa send public key to server despite the refusal of the user

2016-04-07 Thread rpnpif
Package: gpa
Version: 0.9.5-2
Severity: grave
Tags: security
Justification: user security hole

In the Server menu, Send keys. A dialogue box is displaying which asks
"Are you sure you want to distribute this key?" If I click on the cross
(x) to close this box, so it is the same as to click on Yes, the key is
even though sent to the server. It is not the choice of the user. It is
not conform with standards of the GUIs in Debian or in other OS.

It is a security issue by leak of data after an unwitting action of the
user.

It should sent the key to the server only when the user click on Yes.
Else if the user click on the cross or on No, nothing should be sent to
the server

Brasero does not take account of the options such max speed and

Simulation seems to be too short in time. Speed is set to the maximum for

My partition has some conf files of Lenny. I wanted kept it to perhaps
retreive my setup of before.
Installing, I accept that d-i does not format my old partition. When it
saw my config files that conflict with the news, it ask what action to
do with it. In graphic mode, the answers are automatic (--yes ?) not with
the normal install mode. It is here the bug. So, is not in d-i the bug ?

Hi,
So far I have not found other documents with this behavior.

Yes, it is not a severe violation but almost useless.

I think about Libreoffice that the packages have this function removed.

Nothing else.

Do what you want or what you can.

Regards.

Bug#617409: brasero: Road map (was: Brasero corrupts all blank CD-R when burning)

Hello,

Sorry for the time to reply. I was busy.

I have also this issue.

You are perhaps right with the speed that it should not be the problem.

xorriso works fine for me with CD-RW and CD-R.
I have tried the George's patch. This works fine for CR-RW only but not
with CD-R (I have crashed 2 CD-R to confirm).
With CD-R, some files are full of 00H.

But I have a message at the end of compilation that give the list
of the patches and that said for each, that they are removed. Normal ?

Regards.
