Of course. As a Release Manager, I would have appreciated a more timely 
handeling of an RC issue that blocks other packages. I followed DevRef

Could you please push the relevant changes to git?


I doubt I have access. Also, it's probably easier for you to just apply 
my diff than it is for me to do it. I don't have your archive checked 
out, I used dgit [1].
