Question: will you find time to deal with those issues, before 17th of
upciming month? Because then libesmtp and reverse dependencies will be
removed otherwise from trixie.

Upstream had been MIA for years; its last release was in 2010. It appears
he has finally returned, but I haven't had time to deal with the new
version that was released two weeks ago.
