Bug#293872: Acknowledgement (/usr/lib/common-lisp/bin/openmcl.sh segfaults on installation)

That's odd as the package should be identical (save for diferences in glibc header files during compilation) between the package you got from the distribution and the package you created locally. Kevin, could this be related to the first time build vs. build with a previously installed openmcl bug i recently reported to you? Cheers Ralf Mattes Could you also verify the md5sum of the binary package you got from the archive: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ md5sum openmcl_0.14.2.p1_powerpc.deb dbe15371311bcd103f2410bbe9f87bd0 openmcl_0.14.2.p1_powerpc.deb Thanks, Kevin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. It doesn't involve building openmcl, it is intermittant on kernel 2.6, and non-existant on kernel 2.4. -- Kevin Rosenberg [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. I wasn't talking about the segfault during initial installation, only about the reinstall from sources. It's likely that the reinstall actually picked up the clean core from the first install. Hmm, thinking about it: i think i remember having similar problems after a purge/install ... recently. replying to myself to add more info: the problem seems to go away, if i apt-get source openmcl, build the package locally and install that one. as far as i can tell, things work fine now. let me know if i can do anything to help you reproduce this. cheers fabian -- .''`. fabian linzberger http://lefant.net/ ,= ,-_-. =. : :' : do yourself a favour: ((_/)o o(\_)) `. `'` use and support free software! `-'(. .)`-' `-http://www.debian.org/ http://www.gnu.org/ \_/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
