Package: anon-proxy
Version: 00.02.39-7
Severity: grave
Tags: patch
Justification: renders package unusable

The default IP/port in /etc/init.d/anon-proxy does not work. It gives the
following in syslog:

Jul 11 23:04:44 localhost AnonMix: [2005/07/11-23:04:44, info ] Anon proxy
started!
Jul 11 23:04:44 localhost AnonMix: [2005/07/11-23:04:44, info ] Mix-Version:

I was able to find an IP address that did work by visiting the website:

http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/status.php?lang=en

My /etc/init.d/anon-proxy now contains the ip/port combo
212.112.232.175:36544. I'd suggest that this info should be moved
to /etc/default/anon-proxy and a list of current IP addresses be kept in
there, so users can choose and or randomise which server they connect
to.

Another option might be to organise a text file on the upstream server
that contains a list of currently available jap servers.
