Bug#345837: bzflag: uses gpl-incompatible md5 code (RSA license)

Please use a fixed version like lib/md5.c from dpkg. Thanks, Matej -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#345837: bzflag: uses gpl-incompatible md5 code (RSA license)
Package: bzflag Severity: serious Justification: Policy 2.3 bzflag is using md5 code which is under the RSA license. This is incompatible with the GPL license according to the FSF: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-mailutils/2002-09/msg00016.html I only came across this problem because I want to upload a new package to the archive which uses this same code and it was rejected for this reason. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
