For the record, the library is entirely LGPL, except for one file: libgnomevfs/gnome-vfs-mime-monitor.c Upstream is trying to relicense this file as soon as possible but some copyright holders are currently unreachable. This isn't a problem for the SMB method as it is only a plugin, but it requires clarification in the copyright. However, there seems to be GPL code in the daemon as well.
