Bug#419199: kooka seems to be scanning, but isn't

2007-04-14 Thread Michael Burschik
Package: kooka
Version: 4:3.5.5-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Kooka seems to scan, but doesn't actually. A progress bar is displayed
and a completely black image is scanned, but the scanner does not
actually do anything. Xsane suffers from the same problem (I am
submitting a separate bug report), but scanimage works perfectly.

$ scanimage -L
device `plustek:libusb:003:002' is a Canon N670U/N676U/LiDE20 USB flatbed
scanner

P.S.: Reportbug should warn you that it won't work if you save a copy of the
file
  you are editing.

This is a bug in the backend. Reassigning and merging properly

Genius, I cannot doubleclick on the GUI of the pin on the tool, how does it
work?

You neither can ever ping a jumper over the computer to the e-mail address,
nor need to open a TCP controller over the bus for mounting the controller.
