Bug#423465: gcompris doesn't run, until package libsdl-mixer1.2 is installed

2007-05-11 Thread Eduardo Silva
Package: gcompris
Version: 8.3.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Installed gcompris with aptitude, but when running it, it failed with the
message:
"gcompris: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0: cannot
open shared object file:
No such file or directory"

After installing the package libsdl-mixer1.2, it runs, therefore
libsdl-mixer1.2 should be marked as a
dependency of gcompris.

Thanks!

I think that the maintainer accidentially killed the dh_shlibdeps call
in debian/rules while getting rid of the libgcompris packages. Simply
adding it back to binary-arch will generate the dependancies.
