Package: grub-pc Version: 1.95+20070626-1 Severity: serious Coin, This new version fails to upgrade, due to update-grub failing with error code 1 (but no error message). Removing the old config file does not change anything, update-grub fails before writing anything. /boot/grub/device.map: (hd0) /dev/sda /etc/default/grub: # This file is sourced by update-grub, and its variables are propagated # to its childs in /etc/grub.d/ GRUB_DEFAULT=0 GRUB_TIMEOUT=5 GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=Debian I don't have any idea what is going wrong.
