found 431706 0.6.18-1 thanks I first corrected the user -> passwd in the getent call but that wasn't enough.
I think this is now failing to upgrade because of the dpkg-statoverride hence the "No override found" error above. If I add a || true on the dpkg-statoverride line then it all works as expected.
