Bug#450634: Connot be installed on Sid
Hi Kevin, sorry, I'm not that experienced to fix it. Given that, I can test any solution that you have in mind. BTW, I don't know if I really need mozart-gtk. My purpose is only to run SpiCO and what I can say now is something doesn't work. SpiCO is working on other computers with Mac OSX, I don't know about other Linux distribution, so I'm complaining about mozart-gtk because is the piece of software I can't install, but I might be completely wrong as well. However this may be listed as a bug, perhaps of minor importance. Waiting for you to have time to solve it! In the meanwhile, I've written to Mozart ML for support. Bye! I was hoping that nobody used it and I could remove the package eventually. It won't build with sid's toolchain at the moment, see bug #419692. It builds a native extension for mozart by scanning all the gtk headers, and this scanning is very fragile as gtk headers change. There has also been no move upstream to update it to gtk2 and I believe some of its dependent libraries are slated for removal before lenny. Anyway, I won't be able to try and build again before the end of this month. If you can look at it and send me fixes that would be great. :). Alternately, you could try asking on the upstream mailing lists. k -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: mozart-gtk Version: 20060615-2 Severity: grave --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hi, I need to work with Mozart for running SpiCo http://www2.lifl.fr/STC/NEW/pmwiki.php/BioComputing/Home but mozart-gtk is not installable for dependencies problem: apt-get complains about libglib1.2>=1.2.0. Actually in Sid libglib1.2 has been replaced by libglib1.2ldbl so perhaps you have only to rename this dependence. Hope you can fix this problem, otherwise it means a huge downgrade or to compile by myself mozart. Bye!
